Philip Thompson was named one of Filmmaker Magazine’s “25 New Faces of Independent Film”in 2023 and a Sundance Ignite x Adobe Fellowand NYFF Artists Academy Fellowin 2024. Phil’s work lives beyond the churn of TikTok and digs into the emotional and societal undercurrents shaping the world.

He recently edited Rolling Stone’s 20th-Anniversary short on Natasha Bedingfield’s hit song Unwritten, bringing his signature blend of intuition, rhythm, and narrative precision to every beat.
